Gerçeği kaç ve küçük bir şiir yaz,
çünkü papatyalar sonsuza kadar yaşar azıcık bir suyla;
ve hayat bir balondur içinde çok fazla havayla,
kullan azını onun küçük bir şiir yazmaya.

az bir acı burada havada bir kabarcıktır,
acı çekmek bir tayfundur;
uzundur günlerimiz fakat kolaydır ömür,
aynen küçük bir şiir gibi.

Aşk ihtirastır gençliğimizde,
koyulaşır büyüyünce,
emin ol onunla nefes alabileceğine,
içinde bir tünel yap onun küçük bir şiirle.

Kendinden yorulduğunda,
ve hiçbirşey bedelini ödemediğinde,
kırmızı şarabı iç biraz
ve sonra otur küçük bir şiir yazmaya.

Papatyalar sarıdır ve havada bükülür,
lamba ışığı sarıdır ve pencere camının içinden bükülür
yalnız bir oda hüzündür
ve cehennemin içinden bükülür küçük bir şiir gibi.
